These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a binding agreement between you and GJSDocs ("we", "us", "our") and govern your access to and use of our website, dashboard, document editor, APIs, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using GJSDocs, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) and that you have the authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the organization you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Accounts and Security
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password, API keys, and any access tokens.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access or a security incident.
3. Use of the Service
You may use the Service only in compliance with these Terms and applicable law. You agree not to:
- Upload or generate content that is unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, or harmful.
- Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you, or bypass authentication or rate limits.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or otherwise extract the Service in ways not permitted by these Terms.
- Use the Service to send spam, malware, or to interfere with the integrity or performance of the Service or third-party systems.
- Resell or sublicense the Service without our written consent.
4. Your Content
You retain all rights to documents, templates, variables, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). You grant GJSDocs a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, process, transmit, and display Your Content solely as necessary to operate, secure, and improve the Service and to provide features you request, including integrations you enable. You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that it does not violate these Terms or any law.
5. Templates, Variables, and Generated Output
The Service allows you to assemble documents from templates, variables, and reusable blocks. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of generated output and for reviewing it before relying on it for any business, legal, financial, or regulatory purpose. We make no warranty that generated documents are fit for a particular use case.
6. Integrations and Third-Party Services
The Service may connect to third-party services you authorize. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for outages, changes, or data handling outside our control. You may disconnect integrations at any time from your workspace settings.
7. Plans, Billing, and Renewals
- Paid plans are billed in advance on the cadence you select (e.g., monthly or annual) and renew automatically until cancelled.
- Feature limits, usage entitlements, and rate limits are determined by your active plan. Exceeding limits may degrade or restrict functionality until you upgrade or your usage resets.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. By providing payment details, you authorize charges for the applicable fees, taxes, and overages.
- Except where required by law, fees are non-refundable. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and your account remains on the paid plan until then.
- We may change pricing or plan features with reasonable advance notice; changes apply at the start of the next renewal.
8. API Access and Rate Limits
API keys are personal to your account and must not be shared. We may rate-limit, throttle, or revoke keys that we reasonably believe are being misused, expose security risks, or exceed plan entitlements. You are responsible for all activity performed with your API keys.
9. Intellectual Property
GJSDocs, including its software, interface, default templates, and trademarks, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the Service in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted by implication.
10. Suspension and Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that are used to harm other users or the Service, that are subject to non-payment, or as required by law. You may cancel your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends; we may delete account data after a retention period as described in our Privacy Policy.
11. Service Availability and Changes
We strive to provide reliable access but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or fully secure operation. We may add, modify, or discontinue features over time. Where a change materially reduces functionality on a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice.
12. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and any warranties arising from course of dealing or usage of trade. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, and those provisions apply to you only to the extent permitted.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, GJSDocs and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill arising out of or related to the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or (b) one hundred US dollars.
14. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold GJSDocs harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to GJSDocs's place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes will be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws give you a different forum. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the mandatory laws of your country of residence.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
17. Contact and Legal Notices
For legal requests, notices, or questions about these Terms, use the contact page and include the relevant company, account, and request details so we can respond accurately.
